Good morning,
Green Bounty — CAPS is a company created first to help coal plants meet CO2 reductions and turn off the fly ash pond time bomb with in-situ cleanup. Over time we then seek to transition from coal burning to biomass and WDF (Waste Derived Fuel). Lastly, the Trompe generates isothermal compressed air that has multiple uses like refrigeration, dive tanks, pneumatic tools and vehicles.
“Generating Bountiful Clean Air Power Sustainably”; GBC works with coal power plants to help eliminate CO2 emissions and toxic byproducts by planting a balanced sustainable environment, in conjunction with local farmers, and by transforming the cooling tower into a Trompe. We will change the perception of dirty Carbon Footprints into viable Green Carbon Currency benefiting our community and environment.
Highlights: Problem 1: CO2 emissions
Solutions for CO2: Growing selective plants to fix carbon into healthy soils/biomass then, utilize the biomass byproducts to sequester CO2 long term. The Trompe will draw in atmospheric CO2 with the fresh air intakes and contain all exhaust emissions into an air chamber. This air/exhaust mixture is entrained into the water and scrubbed to become compressed isothermal air, clean water, and ash slurry.
Problem 2: Coal (+other) Combustion Residuals (ash)
Solutions for toxic leftovers Vetiver, Hemp, and Sunflowers are the primary hyper-accumulators to remove heavy metals, excess nutrients, and leachate seep waters. The overall power plant site will be transformed into parklike beauty with trees, wildflowers, greenhouses, and apiaries. Vetiver has strong deeply penetrating roots to retain ash ponds against flooding and ruptures. Ash has many versatile uses such as concrete products, drywall, fire protection and as filler dirt for construction. There is also the potential for heavy metal recovery from the ash.
Green Bounty — CAPS One aspect my new endeavor could use your influence in is custom home building. I would love to work with you to design a whole community that uses Hemp and its byproducts as the primary building components. Please check out the following link to “The Harmless Home” built from precast hempcrete blocks with a proprietary interlocking/structural core designed by JustBioFiber in Canada.

What better way to sequester carbon than into a beautiful new home! I hope to stimulate new industry/jobs with hemp products.
I am always eager to learn more from mentors who are willing to share their knowledge of coal power plants. It would be great to talk shop and learn from them while solidifying plans. Who might you be able to recommend please?
Lastly, in my pursuit to help others and their animal friends, I shared a little knowledge about using hemp hurds for animal bedding. To promote market growth clean hemp/vetiver bedding is provided along with a dumpster/container for disposal of soiled materials. Close the loop and the soiled materials are mixed with other biomass for fuel. I have a contact at a large horse farm I will continue to cultivate as GBC comes online. It would be amazing to expand the market so I ask for your help reader with this request.
Problems expanded: Coal Combustion Residuals — Example:
Duke Energy was recently ordered by N.C. to excavate and remove fly ash ponds. ROM cost at $4-6 billion. It’s an issue of toxicity and pond stability. Duke’s Dan river plant had a major failure in 2014 and Kingston for TVA was a massive pond rupture in 2008.
Solutions with VHS System: Vetiver has roots that grow straight down 8-12’ and have the strength 1/6th mild steel rods. Planted hedge rows will encircle the ponds 6-8’ as a boarder and it will also float hydroponically across the surface. This creates a living retaining wall around the pond. Also, known leeching seeps will have vetiver planted along the run of the seep to where it daylights absorbing all excess water and toxins.
Hemp works to remediate the soils by fixing carbon emissions into the soil with its root system. There is a unique decorticator from New Zealand that works with green hemp straight from the harvest. With hemp there are too many opportunities to list here.
Sunflowers like the other two absorb heavy metals and excess nutrients like phosphorus, nitrogen and water. It makes the toxins inert. The plant can be used as fuel, animal fodder, and simple birdseed. All of the plants grown will also help to promote local pollinators in the area which leads to local farms and orchards having more.
Sincerely,
Jay Aldridge Founder: Green Bounty — CAPS
